Groveton ISD decided to not let a tough economy prevent campus improvements from taking place. With 700 students and 10 buildings, Groveton ISD struggled with high energy costs. The school district partnered with Way to solve their ever-growing problem and got more than expected when they received an annual energy savings of $58,000, as well as an upgraded infrastructure.

Hempstead ISD
With school budgets being cut all over Texas, Hempstead ISD, like many others, needed to find a way to upgrade their infrastructure without using any upfront capital. Fortunately, Way’s Green Solutions Team was able to help the district replace their outdated lighting, inefficient and antiquated heating and air conditioning equipment, and provide Hempstead the necessary resources to better control its campus.

Van Vleck ISD
With limited capital and old buildings, VVISD was struggling to fund needed
repairs. John O’Brien, Superintendent and former student of Van Vleck ISD, began looking for a unique way to upgrade the district’s infrastructure, while also reducing their energy and operational costs.
